Model N-14 Antenna for SCD & ARGOS is a Half-Wave Quadrafilar Helix Antenna with right-hand circular polarization. The N-14 is a hemispherically omni-directional antenna for use with ARGOS/SCD platforms, NOAA A-H platforms, Radiosonde receivers, and Transit Navigation receivers. Coverage is approximately hemispheric with a maximum gain of 3 dBic at zenith. The sealed radome for the N-14 is constructed of fiberglass with a white two-part polyurethane paint finish for long life under hostile atmospheric conditions.
