The Wind Observer ultrasonic wind sensor is a robust unit with no moving parts, for accurate monitoring of wind speed and direction. The units of wind speed, output rate and formats are all user selectable. The Wind Observer  can be used in conjunction with a PC or datalogger via  RS422 bi-directional link, or optional analogue output.  Type 316 Stainless Steel construction provides maintenance free operation in all weather conditions.
